Ven. Titus, Lycia
St. Titus Wonderworker lived in the VII century. and was a devout monk in Constantinople monastery. Living in poverty, purity and obedience to him was such a delight that he not trade him to any of the treasures of the world.
Continuous prayer connecting its increasingly close relationship with God and each day brought a deeper understanding of the holy truths of the faith. Soon Titus was ordained a priest. Безперервна молитва з’єднувала його щораз тісніше з Богом та приносила кожного дня глибше розуміння святих правд віри. Невдовзі Тита було висвячено на священика. Свого вірного слугу Господь наділив даром чудотворення. Тит був відважним оборонцем святих образів у боротьбі з іконоборчою єрессю. Відійшов Тит до Господа, залишивши захопливий приклад життя - вірне виконання євангельських заповідей.

1. Припав Йосиф на лице своєму батькові й плакав над ним та цілував його. 2. Потім Йосиф повелів своїм слугам, лікарям, набальсамувати батька, й лікарі забальсамували Ізраїля. 3. Сорок днів пішло на те, бо стільки днів треба було на бальсамування. Єгиптяни ж оплакували його сімдесят днів. 4. А як минули дні жалоби, Йосиф сказав дворові фараона: Коли я знайшов ласку в очах ваших, скажіть фараонові таке: 5. Батько мій заприсягнув мене словами: Ось я вмираю. В моєму гробі, що його я викопав собі в Ханаан-краю, там мене поховаєш! Отож дозволь мені піти та поховати свого батька, і я повернуся." 6. Фараон відповів: "Іди й поховай свого батька, так, як він тебе заприсягнув." 7. 33. А коли Яків скінчив наказувати своїм синам, простягнув він свої ноги на ліжко й віддав духа та приєднався до свого роду.
1. Припав Йосиф на лице своєму батькові й плакав над ним та цілував його. 2. Потім Йосиф повелів своїм слугам, лікарям, набальсамувати батька, й лікарі забальсамували Ізраїля. 3. Сорок днів пішло на те, бо стільки днів треба було на бальсамування. Єгиптяни ж оплакували його сімдесят днів. 4. А як минули дні жалоби, Йосиф сказав дворові фараона: Коли я знайшов ласку в очах ваших, скажіть фараонові таке: 5. Батько мій заприсягнув мене словами: Ось я вмираю. В моєму гробі, що його я викопав собі в Ханаан-краю, там мене поховаєш! Отож дозволь мені піти та поховати свого батька, і я повернуся." 6. Фараон відповів: "Іди й поховай свого батька, так, як він тебе заприсягнув." 7.
