He Was Born To Redeem!

KEY VERSE: "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law," Galatians 4:4.

Redemption seems like a paradox of life and death. Jesus was born of a woman, so He might die on the cross. He rose from the grave, so everyone who believes on Him as Savior would have eternal life. Sinful humanity is born under the curse of sin which is death. Everyone will die the physical death of the body. There is a second death that will be experienced by those who refuse to accept the Lord as Savior. The second death is separation of the soul from God in eternal judgment. For a person to avoid the second death, he must experience the second birth by accepting the Lord as Savior in repentance and faith. Redemption is only a paradox in perception that comes by a lack of faith. It is reality to everyone who accepts the Lord as Savior.

Redemption comes only through Jesus Christ. He was born to save us from our sins. If not for the sinful nature of mankind, there would have been no need for Jesus to leave Heaven's glory for earth's gloom. Jesus willingly took upon Himself the agony of death, so repentant sinners could live with Him for eternity in Heaven. Eternal life is found in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was born to die that we might live for eternity.

JUST A THOUGHT: Jesus was born for you. Will you be reborn unto Him?
